I love jimmy John's, but this location is trash. I've never had any problems with jimmy John's before, but the two times I've been there have both been bad experiences. On the first visit, we ate in store and I told the guy at the register (how we later found out was a manager) what kind of sandwhich i wanted. I get the same things every time. Blt or a vito with jimmy mustard. So I know I didn't say it incorrectly. When we got home, I found that my order was COMPLETELY wrong. So we called and the guy who took our order was a major assholes and basically told us that he didn't make a mistake and that it was our fault..?? If I had said the wrong thing or if I was unsure, i wouldn't have called. So I found that 1st visit very disrespectful and it left me very angry. Today, on my second visit, there was a simple mistake of forgetting cheese oon my sandwhich. Not sure how someone forgets cheese on a sandwich because that's one of the basic things that go on a sandwhich. I'm not sure who is in charge of hiring or training, but that location needs serious work. There's seems to be an overwhelming amount of incompetent idiots at this location.

It's "okay" and it's nice to have this addition to Greencastle's options. However, on more than one occasion I've walked in to find the employees sitting on the counters, on their phones, and acting very casually for a work environment. The speaker is so loud where you place the order that you have to repeat several times. And if you take a minute to read the menu first, the gal who's usually there at the counter stares at you... until you tell her what you'd like and you're asked to repeat it.
If a zero star were possible, then that's what I would have chosen. I worked at jimmy john's last summer as a delivery driver, so I know what to expect. First, it took 35 mins for my one sandwich order to be delivered .8 miles (I would deliver 3 orders in 20 mins max!). Next, the lettuce was so old it was brownish and was literally dripping water with every bite. Finally, The bread that this water logged sandwich was on was pathetically short, maybe 5 or 6 inches at best. To make things worse I gave a $6 tip for my $7 order. I WOULD RECONSIDER ORDERING FROM THIS LOCATION.
This particular location has had a slow start at the gate due to their popularity at launch. My original order (online and living only a mile away) took almost 20 minutes. Willing to give them another try though they got it down to less than 10 on most orders. Not having eaten there I can't say how it looks on property but being shoved next to a video store this is definitely a delivery based store. The food has never been been wrong and has not disappointed. Having eaten at several different locations I can comfortably say this is and hopefully will stay above average. Good luck to them and here is hoping they can stick around while staying strong. I know what I'm ordering next time I'm stuck working from home.
